Ramon and Angel return to KOF after two tournaments of absence, this time counting as a partner with a new fighter named King of Dinosaurs.

- Ramon and Angel have returned after being absent from two past tournaments.
- They are the first representative team from Mexico, where all its members are from that country, since in KOF '94 none of its members were.
- The entire fighting style of the team is based on wrestling.
- For this installment, three Mexicans finally get together in a single team, since they had never met in previous installments.
- It is possible that Angel left NESTS after his downfall after the events of The King of Fighters 2001.
